What We Buy

Any car, any condition

If it has four wheels, we want it — and it doesn't have to run. Cars, trucks, big SUVs, vans, and vehicles that haven't started in years. We see a lot of trucks and SUVs on the Gulf Coast, and those are often worth more than people expect.

Still runs? Even better — tell us. A running vehicle is usually worth more than a junk-only offer.

What Sets the Price

How we figure your offer

Every vehicle is different, so there's no single price. A handful of things decide the number:

  1. 1Year, make & model — and how much its parts are in demand.
  2. 2Does it run and drive? A running vehicle is usually worth more.
  3. 3What's still on it — engine, transmission, converter, wheels, panels.
  4. 4Condition & damage — running, inoperable, wrecked, rusted, flooded, or solid.
  5. 5Current demand — for the vehicle's parts and recoverable materials.
  6. 6Where it is — we tow free across the Pensacola area.

We price the whole vehicle

Your offer is based on what is actually sitting in front of us — not a generic online ticker.

Selling a Car in Florida

With a title — or without one

Most buyers won't explain this. Here's how it works when you sell a junk or end-of-life vehicle to a licensed yard like ours.

If you have the title

Sign it over — we do the rest

  • You sign the title over. Because the vehicle is headed for dismantling, it's processed for a Certificate of Destruction (Form HSMV 82363).
  • Your title record is marked "Cancelled (Junked)" — so it can't come back on you and can never be re-titled.
  • Keep your license plate. In Florida the plate stays with you, the seller.
  • As a licensed Florida salvage dealer, we handle the form and the filing.

No title? You still have options

Florida's derelict-vehicle pathway

  • When a title isn't available, Florida lets a licensed salvage dealer (that's us) take the vehicle on a Derelict Motor Vehicle Certificate.
  • It applies to vehicles under $1,000 and at least 10 model years old. The form can be signed by the owner or whoever lawfully has the vehicle.
  • There's a short holding period (about 3 business days) before it's dismantled, and it can never be titled again.
  • It's the legal way to handle a no-title junk car — done by the book.

Questions, Answered

Selling your car in Florida: FAQ

How do I sell my car to Kiker's? +
Call 850-435-7630 or fill out the form with your vehicle's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a fair cash offer fast, schedule a same-day or convenient pickup, tow it free, handle the paperwork, and pay you on the spot.
Do you buy cars that don't run? +
Yes. We buy running and non-running vehicles — wrecked, flooded, blown engine or transmission, or just worn out.
Can I sell my car without a title in Florida? +
Often, yes. When a title isn't available, Florida lets a licensed salvage dealer like Kiker's take the vehicle on a Derelict Motor Vehicle Certificate — generally for vehicles worth under $1,000 and at least 10 model years old. Call us and we'll tell you what applies.
Do I keep my license plate when I sell? +
Yes. In Florida the license plate stays with you, the seller, not the vehicle. Pull it before the car leaves.
Will the car still be in my name after I sell it? +
No. For a junked vehicle, the title is processed for a Certificate of Destruction and marked "Cancelled (Junked)," so it's permanently off your name and can't be re-titled.
How much is my car worth? +
It depends on the year, make and model, whether it runs, what parts are still on it, the condition, and current scrap and metal prices. We give you a fair, no-haggle offer for your specific vehicle.
How fast can you pick up my vehicle? +
Often the same day. Or pick a time that works for you. Towing is free across the Pensacola area.
What areas do you serve? +
We buy in Pensacola, Pace, Milton and East Milton, Cantonment, and nearby — across Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
