Our StorySince 19723rd generation

A Pensacola family. Three generations in.

We're not a faceless online buyer here today and gone tomorrow. We're a Pensacola family that's been through the hard times and come back stronger — and that history is our edge. Nobody around here has it.

Our Values

Five Values You Can Count On

These are the standards we live by so you can count on a better experience every time.

Own It

Take responsibility.
Fix problems.

We correct our mistakes, keep the yard in order, and do not leave issues for someone else to handle.

Do Right

Tell the truth.
Be fair.

We give customers honest information, charge fair prices, and do the job properly, even when no one is watching.

Outwork It

Find solutions.
Follow through.

We put in the effort required to solve problems, complete the work, and provide the help our customers need.

Back Each Other

Work as
a team.

We step in, help each other, and get the job done as a team. That means better communication, more consistent service, and fewer delays for our customers.

Watch Out

Be safe.
Protect others.

We do not take shortcuts at the expense of safety, and we expect every employee to take reasonable precautions to protect customers, employees, and everyone in the yard.

The Long Road

From the dirt up

Hunter's grandfather bought the property in 1972. The early years were hard — at one point the only shredder between Pensacola and Birmingham wouldn't buy the family's crushed cars, and a four-hour haul north didn't pencil out. A farm-commodity crash later pushed the family into bankruptcy.

They came back. In 2001 the family reopened as Kiker's U-Pull-It. Hunter was 14, breaking down aluminum wheels and setting cars on heavy wheel stands in the sand and dirt under the Pensacola sun. Not many 14-year-olds were doing that. He learned every corner of the business beside his grandfather and today runs the yard as the third generation.

"I can let this be a crutch, or it doesn't define me — and we're gonna make the best of it."

Giving Back

Good for the community.

We donate vehicles to the local fire department for extrication training — practice that can save a loved one's life one day. And every car we take in gets recycled the right way: copper and metal recovered, fluids handled properly, good parts going on to keep another family on the road.

End of life giving life. It's not just fluff — it's how we've always done it.
